We are an active partner with Canon in reducing business waste.

Energy Star

Canon was the first office equipment manufacturer to participate in Energy Star.

Currently over 150 Canon Products are ENERGY STAR qualified (printers 100%, MFD’s 88%) and Canon was the recipient of the 2008 ENERGY STAR Award for Promotion of ES Program through Product Labeling.

Clean Earth Camapaign

The Canon Cartridge Return Program was established in 1990.

Canon was first in the Industry to provide cartridge return for spent laser printer toner cartridges 150,000 tons of toner cartridges have been diverted from landfills since program began.



Canon U.S.A employees at facilities across the country volunteer their time for conservation activities involving parks, beaches and nature preserves. Since 1996, Canon employees have volunteered thousands of hours to maintain these public areas.
